Spain shares the Iberian Peninsula with Portugal and the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar.

The Financial Crisis hit Spain hard but the country was recovering steadily till the Covid 19 Pandemic struck.
The booming tourist industry dropped to practically zero and hard times hit Spain.  Luckily the country quickly recovered after the pandemic.
