West
Lake is the most popular tourist destination, but there are many more points of interest like
Twin Peaks Piercing the Clouds,
conveniently reached by cablecar.
We visited Hangzhou in October 2003.
On the north side of Twin Peaks Piercing the Clouds there is a nice view over the Hangzhou area
there is another perfect lookout
the famous Lingyin Buddhist Temple is one of the largest (and richest) of China
you can explore the lake on foot or hire a boat
