Canada's Quebec Province covers a huge area of rugged and mostly uninhabited land and large parts of the interior are
not even accessible by car.
Therefore most tourists stick to the populated areas along the banks of the mighty St Lawrence
River.
And so did we when we visited Quebec in September 2017.
We crossed the St Lawrence River at Riviere du Loup in the
north and drove the 500 km south to the bustling city of Montreal with a very French Quebec City in between.
