the Baroness Outlook, she did pick a nice place for it
Floreana
Floreana Island's history is very interesting and includes whalers, convicts and deadly German family feuds.

Popular among visiting tourist is to drop mail in the barrel at Post Office Bay, a tradition started by whalers back in the 18th century. The system is still working.

In the morning of June 2d 2009 we performed a smooth wet landing at Cormorant Point to explore the beach and to check out the Flamingos in a  brackish pond. Unfortunately, apart from the wet feet, the rest of this excursion was rather uneventful.

In the afternoon we climbed up to the platform at the Baroness Lookout to hear about its morbid history and to enjoy the view.
