a cruise on the Moskva River
Moscow was build along the banks of the
Moskva River, so taking a
river cruise is a nice and relaxed method to see some of the
main buildings and constructions of the city.
Several companies offer boat rides on the Moskva, from short trips
on old, run down vessels, to expensive dinner cruises where the emphasis is more on the food than on the sights.
The
larger boats sail all year, in winter they will have to negotiate the ice, if necessary assisted by an icebreaker. Bundle up!
