The Hague is a diverse city with many interesting places for tourists to visit:
Broad beaches along the North Sea coast at
Scheveningen, an
old fishing village but now an upscale district featuring a rusty Pier and the imposing
Kurhaus, a grand hotel from
1885.
The
Peace Palace, the monumental seat of the International Court of Justice.
The medieval
Binnenhof with the offices of the Prime
Minister and the two Houses of Parliament.
