diving Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao
The ABC islands are a diver's paradise.
In particular
Bonaire consistently scores very high on best dive destinations in the
Caribbean, while Aruba and Curacao are also frequently mentioned.
I have logged dozens of scuba dives here, some sites multiple
times, and found no real difference between the islands.
If you prefer shore dives, Bonaire is the place to go. Just wade
out and dive!
For wreck dives like the
Antilla and the Pedernalis or a Convair-400 airplane you
better head for Aruba.
The
Superior Producer is Curacao's main dive attraction, but visiting times are severely limited because the wreck rests
only 60 meters from the shore, right in the the middle of a busy shipping lane.
And currents can be challenging
and treacheurous here.
This album shows a selection of photos taken between 1996 and 2007 with different
equipment, so picture quality is not always that good.
