Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, the capital of Galapagos Province is not a big city
San Cristobal
San Cristobal Island sports the official capital of the Galapagos Islands, the small fishing town of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. Just out of town you can visit a small  museum on human history.
Not much else to do here, except for a couple of T-shirt shops and the wildlife in and around the harbor.

Earlier in the rainy morning of June 1
of 2009 we visited Kicker Rock, the split remains of an exploded ancient lava cone. We saw the end of the rainbow, but no not of gold.
